Female Comic Book Fan Stamp

First stamp I made completely from scratch. Yay.

I made this because I didn't see any others like it out there yet.

Yes, I am female, and I am a huge fan of comic books. Is that so shocking? Lols.

But seriously, why is it so shocking for some people to hear that a female likes comic books? Because comics are generally a guys genre?

[Btw, when I say comics, I'm mainly referring to comics like Batman or Spiderman.]

I've never understood that. And it's weird how in most comic book films, they'll always have the 'bored uninterested female' standing around looking miserable while her boyfriend or whatever is freaking out over issue #38 of something.

Why do they always portray females as they would much rather go makeup shopping them go read/buy comics?

I'd rather spend my day at a comics shop then do stuff that they claim normal females would.

Just once I'd like to see some geeky nerdy female just as interested in comics as the guys. Seriously, this stereotype is getting old, fast. And it's pissing female comic book fans [or at least me] off.
